I am 32 years old and live in Cornucopia with my supportive husband and 3 young children. I have been a Doula for three years. As a Doula, I am honored to support expectant mothers and their partners, and help with a smooth postpartum transition. I became a Doula because I feel it is important to reciprocate the remarkable support I received when I birthed my babies. It is a privilege to witness and assist women and their partners through the labor and birth experience, and see their transition into parenthood. I have experience with births in the hospital and at home. Breastfeeding my children has been such a positive experience I enjoy assisting mothers with getting started with this new skill. In addition to raising our children, we run a small business, Spirit Creek Farm, preserving and marketing fermented foods (sauerkraut and kim chi). I also enjoy spending my time gardening, sewing, sailing and exploring the wilderness around us, especially in the winter.
